PTs must carry a 40% load normally to be eligible but since there is a fiscal crisis, 20% is accepted.   PTs must have served for a min. of 4 consecutive semesters not counting summer and must not be receiving or eligible for coverage elsewhere. 

District also offers FSAs for medical, dental, vision or dependent care   to Pts who have 3 years of service and 40% load.

 

Up to $1000 max. towards premiums but if there is money left in the fund there are additional reimbursements

100% premiums for paid for 50% yearly load. For those who work 40-50%, the instructor pays for 1/2 the insurance policy, 100% full medical benefits and a routine vision checkup(no dental)

San Diego Adult Ed.

Adjunct faculty with a semester assignment of at least 30% of full-time (.30 FTE) or a

minimum of 4.5 formula hours are eligible to participate in the health/medical and dental

plans offered by the District after successful completion of such assignment during two (2)

of the last five (5) semesters.

 

50% of premiums for district medical & dental with a 60% load. Down to 25% premiums for a 30% load.

Choice of District Plans includes individual, spouse/partner and/or dependents

 

San Francisco

Part-timers beginning third semester and assigned either twelve and one-half (12 1/2) hours or more per week for a semester in the noncredit program or seven and one-half (7 1/2) units or more per week for a semester in the credit program will be provided health and dental coverage

Immediate coverage for those working a 60% load.

Stipend for amount highest employee-only premium health plan available to District employees; plus

amount of optional fringe benefit paid to District employees per month for the employment
